CHAMP successfully tested

CHAMP, or the Counter-electronics High Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project, is a Directed Energy Directorate program designed to destroy electronics, rather than jam them, which only temporarily affects systems that come back online when it stops being applied. Deployed on a cruise missile-type platform, CHAMP is designed to disable the computer and communications systems of adversaries without human casualties.
